Suggested mallets for the Middle School band
Mallets best suited for the middle school/junior high band have been selected for smaller hands with less developed muscles, while still producing excellent sound quality and offering the opportunity for high-level musical expression in the ensemble setting. In addition, durability and flexibility are a key concern in the younger band setting.
